To everyone who is freaking out about the announcement that there would be no repacement act for As I lay Dying please smoke a bong for god sake if you have a pre-existing mental condition rather take the pills subscribed by your doctor…

You bitches should learn to appreciate the effort of others. Shit rainbows.

Remember this is Africa nothing is ever perfect. Be angry at AILD they are the ones who would rather make more money than play here in SA.

As for the value of the ticket… We are getting more value for money than most other events. SERIHAAS

You will pay anything between R340 – R1300 for a Metallica Ticket.
With that you will only see one lousy country band. 

Also the suggestions have become pointless. Devote your energy to something worthwhile, for the fun of it vote for a band you would like to see at Ramfest in the future and if your favorite band is not in the list just comment and I will add them let’s make the biggest poll ever…

Tomorrow is judgementday!

The 6th of February is judgement day as Ramfest will hopefully announce the replacement act for As I Lay Dying.

As I Lay Dying recently cancelled their Ramfest gig and decided to tour with The Devil Wears Prada in the US and assured South African fans that they will be visiting soon.

I would like to predict who the replacement act would be but honestly it would all be wishful thinking.

If I had a million on stake I might say it is Arch Enemy. They are currently off the road and their first official tour date is only in July so I doubt that they would quit writing new material and head down to South Africa or would they?

Well seeing that Ramfest is 2 months before they actually start their tour makes it possible but highly unlikely.

Like I said wishful thinking. There might be tons of bands that fit similar criteria but we won’t know until we know right?

I am set on being at Ramfest 2013 regardless whether a new act is announced or not.
